The whole iPhone 11 family needs the market check

A Pro or Pro Max name does not remove the regional exception. The model evidence below identifies the physical-only A-numbers for each model. This matters when a refurbished phone was imported from a different market than the shop where you bought it.

One physical SIM and one eSIM

A supported iPhone 11 can keep a home nano-SIM alongside a travel eSIM. It does not offer two active eSIMs at once. If your home line is already digital, decide which line to activate rather than assuming both eSIM profiles can stay active.

iPhone 11 is an LTE generation. An eSIM plan advertised with 5G cannot give this phone 5G hardware; check the plan’s LTE coverage instead.

Questions about iPhone 11

Do iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max support eSIM?

Yes, in supported markets. The China mainland, Hong Kong and Macao versions of both models use physical SIMs instead. The Pro label does not remove these regional exceptions.

Can iPhone 11 use two eSIMs at the same time?

No. A supported iPhone 11 can use one active eSIM alongside a physical nano-SIM. It does not support two simultaneously active eSIMs.

Can an eSIM give iPhone 11 a 5G connection?

No. iPhone 11 is an LTE phone. An eSIM plan advertised with 5G does not add 5G hardware; check that the provider offers suitable LTE coverage for the trip.

An EID indicates eSIM hardware. It does not prove the phone is unlocked, that every provider will accept it or that a plan includes coverage at your destination. Do not send us your IMEI, EID or account details.
